Creating your Merch Cat account
Sign up on the website
- Go to the Merch Cat website and click Sign Up.
- Enter your name, email address, and a password.
- Enter your artist or band name — this appears on fan receipts and order notifications.
- Click Create Account.
Tip: Use an email address you check regularly. Low inventory alerts, fan order notifications, and billing receipts are sent there.
Verify your email
Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the link inside. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
Complete your profile
After confirming, log in and head to Profile to add your:
- Profile photo
- Mailing address (required for fan shipping labels)
- Phone number
Next steps
Once your account is set up, connect Square so you can accept payments at shows, then add your merch items.
